The PREP School of Journey Parkway is an innovative private preschool which focuses on providing the highest level of early childhood education in a safe and secure environment. We offer a preschool experience filled with enrichment opportunities that motivate the young child’s curiosity about the world around them. Our classroom instruction utilizes an emergent learning approach to expand on children’s current knowledge, their particular interests, and build upon developmental strengths as well. From our state-of-the-art building design to our exceptional educators and specialized curriculum, not a single detail has been overlooked.
The PREP School of Journey Parkway is conveniently located across from Akin Elementary and just minutes from Parkside Elementary. Nestled within many sought-after Leander and Georgetown neighborhoods, families will enjoy easy access to the bustling Ronald Reagan Corridor and surrounding communities. I cannot speak highly enough of this school. I drop off my little girls every day, knowing that they are in good, loving, nurturing hands, and my momma mind is at rest throughout the day. Every day, I pick up 2 happy kids. We have been to another daycare before, and had a bad experience. I'm so happy with the quality of care and education The PREP gives. This school will always be like home to us - we love the teachers and the management alike!

Our son has been at The PREP since he was 3 months old. We are first time parents and have needed a lot of hand holding and help through all the developments that come when a baby transitions to a toddler. The teachers and the staff at The PREP have done this with no judgement and have been such a help to us along the way. It has not gone unnoticed the huge smile our son gets when he sees his teachers. It’s quite clear that he loves them, which gives us a feeling of ease when dropping him off. I also appreciate how other staff and teachers seem to know our son as well, so wherever he goes in the building there is an adult that is familiar to him. The facilities are great, and I can tell that older kids are enjoying playing and learning while there. We love the regular updates that we get throughout the day with the easy-to-use app. It’s fun to see what he is up to, as well as giving us peace of mind that he’s getting the necessary naps and food at various times. We feel very lucky to be able to attend The PREP and look forward to our little guy growing there for years to come.

Our family loves The PREP! Our first son started a year and a half ago in the infant room and has thrived in and enjoyed every classroom since. We are truly impressed by the leadership and dedication shown by Cynthia (the sweetest owner ever), and we adore each of the administrators. The world class campus design, the fun curriculum, the friendliness of the teachers, the countless pictures and updates, and the open lines of communication are all things we enjoy and appreciate – but what we’ve loved most at The PREP has been the growth and happiness of our son! He frequently requests to go to school now, which tells us just how well loved and cared for he is in our absence - which is something money simply cannot buy! We cannot thank everyone at The PREP enough for the important work they do each day, and we look forward to our second son joining them next year!
